Public Health History Timeline

This timeline was developed by Janet L. Place, MPH, Southeast Public Health Training Center, of the NC Institute for Public Health at the UNC School of Public Health. The timeline is for use by anyone and can be used as a html document or flash presentation (Flash version still under contruction). Many subjects are linked to additional information which will open in new windows. The focus is on public health history in the West, in general, and the United States, specifically. It is not meant to exclude the public health achievements of other parts of the world. This is a work in progress. Suggestions of things that should be included are more than welcome.
